Vancouver, BC—Omnifilm and Quadrant Motion Pictures have joined forces to create a new feature film arm of the long-established television powerhouse, Omnifilm Entertainment Ltd.
The new company, Omnifilm Quadrant, will focus exclusively on theatrical motion pictures, eyeing in particular Canadian content projects, born out of Quadrant's deep development well, but also servicing non-Canadian projects.

Access to Omnifilm's talented infrastructure and the ability to collaborate with Omnifilm partners, Michael Chechik, Gabriela Schonbach and Brian Hamilton is the ideal way to move our development and production slate to the next level."
Waterhouse is currently executive producing the dark comedy Lawrence & Holloman which wrapped production last week as well as the romcom That Burning Feeling, in production until December 20th. Quadrant is also packaging My Asshole Neighbour, a comedy slated for production in Summer, 2013 and to be distributed by Alliance. This will become the first Canadian content project produced by the new entity.
Omnifilm Entertainment is currently in production on the new action adventure series, Primeval: New World for Space, UKTV, ProSeiben and soon to air on Syfy in the US, as well as season two of CBC's hit adventure series Arctic Air. Current factual series include the much lauded Ice Pilots NWT for History, and season two of Pyros for Discovery.

Quadrant Motion Pictures is a Vancouver-based production house focusing on feature film development and production. Quadrant evolved out of Anagram Pictures. Andrew Currie was a founding partner of Anagram, directing and producing under the Anagram banner for over ten years. During his Anagram tenure, Currie co-wrote and directed the Sundance comedy hit, Fido, produced the mockdoc The Delicate Art of Parking, and directed the award winning feature Mile Zero.Mary Anne Waterhouse joined forces with Currie as a producer of the feature film, Fido. Prior to Fido, Waterhouse worked independently and over the years has been involved in over 40 film and television projects ranging from Gemini winning TV movies (Elijah, 100 Days in the Jungle) to US blockbusters.
