Contracts were finalized today, confirming development of four feature films: Scatterbrain, a female Frankenstein story to be written by Andrew Currie and Blake Corbet, The Invisibles, the story of a man who literally starts to disappear from the world, co-written by Toronto writer, Colin Aussant, Jekyll & Hyde: a comedy by Andrew Currie and Robert Chomiak, and Robyn Harding's comedy The Steps.
We are excited to announce that we've signed on to Executive Produce the dark comedy Lawrence & Holloman co-written by Daniel Arnold & Matthew Kowalchuk, to be directed by Matthew and produced by Paul Armstrong. Lawrence & Holloman is based on the enormously successful stage play by one of Canada's leading playwrights, two time Governor General award winner, Morris Panych.
Quadrant is excited to be working with BC novelist Robyn Harding on her feature comedy script, The Steps. Robyn is a prolific humour novelist, with seven novels published to date in Canada, the US and the UK. Her latest, Chronicles of a Midlife Crisis was released in the US this past fall.
The feature film Elysium, which Mary Anne Waterhouse was production manager on has now completed production - ending in December in Mexico City.
